murder most foul

Somewhere between yesterday and forever, above the earth, beneath the sky, I found out that dreams can die too. Their guiding light wavers as days and heartbeats pass you by. Bits and pieces are carried away, succumbing to fate and the whim of the winds.

We delude ourselves though and carry on, braving the unending uncertainty of life to claim that one special pursuit. Once in a while, we get lucky. For a brief second, the shadows part and we get to touch our hope and make it real.

And there the dream dies, on contact with the heart. We recognize our dream for what it is: a goal, a success or a failure; once done, ends.

Grasping our dream, in triumph or loss, we kill the dream. But as the pieces fall, something magical happens. A dream is borne anew, just as unattainable, twice as appealing. Such is the way of man: a never-ending quest somewhere between yesterday and forever. Above earth, beneath sky.

  2. i was watching ellen (the tv show) nung isang araw, tapos she said something like:"They say that when a door closes, a window opens. But of course another door closes, because of the wind. And the next thing you know you're not even in the room anymore, or maybe, you're in the wrong room. Or maybe, you shouldn't even be in a room." haha. she was talking about those american idol contestants who cry and go wild when they don't get sent to hollywood because they can't sing. hahaha. but i don't know if we're talking about the same thing. ehehehe.
